The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is for the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product is not the only helpful means of studying. Their NCV programmes are designed for students who would like to commence their journey toward a fulfilling occupation early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Department for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs begin at NCV level 2 as well as the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

When the student finishes NCVLevel tvet college engineering 2, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 website and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
